Let's hang this Sunday 5/5 in Queens NYC!
Join us for a fun afternoon making foodie zines that tell your personal story.
Hey NYC KP Community!
Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Come meet us this Sunday, May 5th at Sunnyside Arts (45-18 Skillman Avenue, QNS) from 2:00-3:30pm for our Foodie Zine Workshop: Celebrating Your Heritage Through Food Memories.
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER and for more details. ONLY 8 SPOTS LEFT! $25 per person or $40 for two people.
We’ll guide you page-by-page to create a personal 8-page zine that celebrates your unique tastes as a first, second or multi-generational American. By showcasing your history and heritage through food, words, art, and collage on every page; you will create your own unique story to showcase the wholeness of living an “unhyphenated life” in the U.S. This class is open to anyone - teens are welcome, too!
We hope to see you there! Don’t forget to say hi to Sunnyside Art’s owner Ed Kim, who we featured in Issue 14 last month. It’s going to be fuuuuun!
